— Rates & Fees

What a loan from our network can cost.

LendingGates is not a lender and does not set interest rates, fees, or repayment terms. Every lender in our network prices loans differently based on your state, credit profile, and the lender's own policies. The ranges below are representative only — your actual offer will come directly from the lender you're matched with.

Representative Ranges

Late payment fee Varies by lender Disclosed in your loan agreement before you sign.
Prepayment Varies by lender Ask your lender whether paying early reduces your total cost.

Some lenders and lending partners in our network, including certain tribal lenders, may offer short-term products with APRs that are significantly higher than the ranges above, particularly for borrowers with limited credit history. Review the full terms a lender provides before you agree to anything.

Questions worth asking any lender

What's the APR, in full?

Not just the interest rate — the Annual Percentage Rate, which includes fees. It's the number that lets you compare offers fairly.

What happens if I pay late?

Ask about late fees, rollover options, and whether a missed payment gets reported to credit bureaus.

Can I pay it off early?

Some products charge a prepayment penalty. Others let you save on interest by paying ahead of schedule.

Is this lender licensed in my state?

State licensing affects what protections apply to your loan. A lender should be able to answer this directly.
